Holiday Job - Your Intention
If you are a student, hopefully this will trigger you to reflect...
Do you work during this holiday for money? Or do you work just to gain an experience? Or, do you work to develop yourself, so that you can be a better person?
The differnce in the intentions seperates a successful person from the rest of the people.
If you are thinking about making money only, then the value as a person has not increase after you've work. You remain the same person as you are before the holiday, probably a few hundred dollars richer.
However if you are hoping to get an experience out of it, your value increase slightly, because in the process of working, you reflect and decide if you like that job.
If you started your holiday job planning to improve yourself, then your value as a person would have improve tremendously as you work on improving yourself on the job so that you can perform better.
This is a simple yet important question that determines why some people get promoted and some don't. If you are planning to improve yourself, you will give your 100% effort in doing your job and helping out wherever is necessary. But if you are just there to get paid, you will only put in mininmal effort to get by.
Alway question your intention about doing something. It is going to propel you to a whole new level of success!
